The Yealink W59R Pro is a hardened DECT handset for the most demanding environments. Its IP67-certified housing resists dust and immersion, and its antimicrobial coating suits healthcare and food-processing settings. It includes an SOS alarm button the user presses in case of danger, plus a lone-worker protection function that detects a fall, immobility or an impact and automatically alerts a programmed number. The 2.4-inch color display (240 x 320 pixels) stays readable in all conditions, and Bluetooth lets you connect a wireless headset. HD audio, 3-way conferencing, a 100-contact local phonebook and 9 ringtones cover everyday needs. The lithium-ion battery provides 28 hours of talk time and 320 hours of standby. Belt clip included.

The W59R Pro is meant for trades where the phone must withstand everything and where personal safety matters: industry, logistics, maintenance, food processing, healthcare facilities, staff working alone. The alarm button and the lone-worker function automatically notify a colleague or a security desk in case of a fall or immobility. It registers on a W70B or W75 base, or on a W80 or W90 multi-cell system for large sites. A dedicated W59R Pro charging cradle is available separately to add charging points. For less exposed use, the IP54-rated W57R is enough.

How does lone-worker protection work?

The handset detects a fall, prolonged immobility or an impact and automatically calls the configured alert number. The user can also trigger the alarm manually with the SOS button whenever a situation feels dangerous.
