Description
The Yealink W90B is the radio base station of the W90 multi-cell DECT IP system, to be paired with the W90DM manager. Each base provides 8 simultaneous narrowband or wideband calls and covers about 50 meters indoors or 300 meters outdoors; its rotatable external antennas let you adjust coverage in complex premises. Up to 60 bases form a single network for 250 handsets, with seamless roaming and handover. Synchronization runs over DECT or over the LAN (PTPv2 switch required), which stabilizes handovers in demanding environments such as warehouses. The W53H, W56H, W57R, W59R, W73H and W78H handsets, the CP930W and CP935W conference phones and phones with the DD10K are supported. Opus and G.722 codecs, one RJ45 10/100 port with PoE and TLS security.

Use and tips
The W90B is the base to deploy in numbers on a large site: a hospital, a logistics warehouse, a multi-wing hotel, a campus. Under a single W90DM manager, add one base per area to cover, up to 60, simply connecting them to the network over PoE. Orient the antennas to the layout of the premises and have a radio survey done to guarantee overlap between cells. On a busy or disturbed network, enable LAN synchronization if your switches support PTPv2. For 30 bases or fewer, the W80 system remains a simpler alternative.
