Description
The Yealink W80DM is the manager of the W80 multi-cell DECT IP system. It does not emit a radio signal itself: it coordinates the W80B base stations, up to 30 per site, and handles 100 handsets, 100 SIP accounts and 100 simultaneous calls, each base providing 8 narrowband or wideband calls. Handsets move from one base to the next without dropping the call thanks to roaming and handover. The W53H and W56H handsets, the CP930W conference phone and phones fitted with the DD10K are supported; repeaters are not. DECT encryption, TLS and SRTP protect communications against eavesdropping. A single RJ45 10/100 port with PoE is enough for connection, wall mounting is provided for, and management runs through auto-provisioning with over-the-air handset updates.

Use and tips
The W80DM is the starting point of any W80 system: a hotel, a large store, a warehouse, a clinic or an office building. Count one manager per site, then one W80B base per area to cover, up to 30, keeping the 100-handset limit in mind. Connect the manager and the bases to a PoE switch, since the power adapter is not supplied, and have a radio survey done before installation. The starter packs combining the W80DM with 2, 5 or 10 bases make the first deployment easier; for more than 100 handsets, choose the W90 system.
Frequently asked questions
Which PBX or provider does this system work with?
With any SIP-compatible IP PBX or VoIP service (3CX, Asterisk, hosted Centrex). Each handset registers with its own SIP account. Tell us about your setup through our contact page and we confirm compatibility before you order.
Does the W80DM work on its own?
No: it does not emit a DECT signal. At least one W80B base is required, and only one W80DM per site, up to 30 bases. The starter packs combine the manager with 2, 5 or 10 bases.
What is the warranty?
