Description

The Yealink RT30 extends the radio range of a Yealink W70B, W60B or W52 DECT base station in all directions: placed at the edge of coverage, it relays the signal over a further 50 meters indoors or 300 meters outdoors. It pairs automatically with the base and handles up to 4 simultaneous calls with the W70B and second-generation W60B bases. One base accepts up to 6 repeaters, and the W70B allows up to 4 of them to be cascaded to reach a distant building; call handover from one repeater to the next is seamless. Three LEDs show power, DECT link and relay activity, which makes positioning easier during installation. The housing mounts on the wall and runs on a 5 V power adapter. The RT30 is intended for Yealink DECT base stations and handsets only.

Use and tips

The RT30 serves businesses equipped with a single-cell Yealink DECT base (W70B, W60B, W52) where one area remains poorly covered: an extra floor, a stockroom, a workshop at the back of the yard, a car park. Place it where the base signal is still good, on a mains socket, and check the three LEDs. Up to 6 repeaters per base, and up to 4 cascaded with the W70B. The W80 multi-cell systems do not support repeaters; for a very large site, prefer several W75, W80 or W90 bases.
