Description
The Yealink T58W is a smart desk phone running Android 9.0. Its 7-inch capacitive touchscreen (1024 x 600 pixels) tilts as needed and gives access to the 16 SIP accounts, the 1,000-contact phonebook and the 8 function keys. With an optional USB webcam, it makes video calls (H.264 and VP8 codecs), runs a 3-way video conference and mixed audio and video conferences of up to 5 participants. Yealink's acoustics remove extraneous noise and the Opus, G.722, G.722.1 and G.722.1C codecs deliver HD voice; the phone is hearing aid compatible. 2.4/5 GHz Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 4.2 are built in, and two Gigabit ports with PoE plus two USB ports (webcam, recording, headset or EXP50 expansion module) complete the connectivity. Security relies on Arm TrustZone, 256-bit AES encryption, TLS and WPA3, and centralized management goes through the Yealink Device Management platform.

Use and tips
The T58W is aimed at management, executive assistants and small meeting rooms that want a comfortable touchscreen phone able to switch to video with an optional webcam. Its 16 SIP accounts and 7-inch display make it easy to follow many lines, and Wi-Fi and Bluetooth reduce cabling. It registers on any SIP-compatible IP PBX. Allow 7.6 W on PoE: check your switch's power budget, or add the 5 V / 2 A power adapter sold separately. The wall mount kit and the EXP50 module are available as options.

Is the camera included?
No. The T58W ships without a camera; video calls require an optional USB webcam connected to the dedicated USB port. Without a webcam, it works as a complete touchscreen audio phone.
