The Yealink T53W takes the T53 and builds in 2.4 and 5 GHz Wi-Fi plus Bluetooth 4.2 from the start: the phone sits in an office with no network socket and directly hosts a wireless headset or a mobile phone. Its backlit 3.7-inch display (360 x 160 pixels) tilts for constant reading comfort, and its backlit keypad gathers 8 line keys for 12 SIP accounts. Optima HD voice combines wideband, full duplex, echo cancellation and an adaptive jitter buffer, with the Opus, G.722, G.722.1 and G.722.1C codecs; the Acoustic Shield function isolates background noise. The phone handles 3-way conferencing and a 1,000-contact phonebook. Its USB port serves call recording, the EXP50 module or the DD10K DECT dongle, which pairs a cordless handset sharing lines and contacts with the phone. Two Gigabit ports with PoE and optional wall mounting complete the package.

Use and tips
The T53W suits offices where cabling is missing or must stay discreet: coworking space, refurbished branch, practice, management office. Wi-Fi connects it to the company network, Bluetooth frees the user with a wireless headset, and the DD10K dongle adds a DECT handset to move around. It works with any SIP-compatible IP PBX and deploys through auto-provisioning. Used on Wi-Fi, it needs the 5 V / 1.2 A power adapter (sold separately); on a wired connection, a PoE switch is enough. Can a cordless handset be paired with it?
Yes, with the Yealink DD10K DECT dongle plugged into the USB port. The DECT handset becomes a secondary extension that shares the T53W's lines and contacts, with call transfer between the two.
