Description
The Yealink T31G is the Gigabit version of the T31: its two 10/100/1000 Ethernet ports let you connect the phone and the computer to a single network socket without limiting the PC's bandwidth. It handles two SIP accounts and two line keys, with a backlit 2.3-inch graphic LCD (132 x 64 pixels). HD voice relies on the G.722 and Opus codecs, the speakerphone works in full duplex and a local 5-way conference starts from the phone. The local phonebook stores 1,000 contacts. PoE 802.3af power removes the need for a power adapter, and the RJ9 headset port accepts Yealink YHS34 and YHS36 wired headsets, or a wireless headset through the EHS35 adapter. Multi-angle stand, wall mounting option, management through the web interface, from the phone or by auto-provisioning.

Use and tips
The T31G suits workstations that make and take calls without advanced features: individual office, reception, workshop, hotel room. Its two Gigabit ports make it the right choice when the computer shares the phone's network socket. It deploys in bulk through auto-provisioning and works with IP PBXs and SIP-compatible VoIP services. Plan a PoE switch or the 5 V / 0.6 A power adapter (sold separately), and a YHS34 RJ9 headset for busy desks. For four accounts and a color display, see the T33G; for Wi-Fi, the T31W.
