Description
The Yealink T31W brings Wi-Fi to the T3 range: its dual-band 2.4 and 5 GHz radio (802.11a/b/g/n/ac) connects it to the network without an Ethernet cable, with WPA3 and TLS 1.3 encryption to secure traffic. It keeps the T31 essentials: two SIP accounts, two line keys, a backlit 2.3-inch LCD (132 x 64 pixels), HD voice with the G.722 codec, a full-duplex speakerphone and a 1,000-contact phonebook. Two 10/100 Ethernet ports remain available for a conventional wired installation with PoE power; on Wi-Fi, an optional power adapter takes over. Voicemail with message indicator, call park and call pickup are supported. The phone is managed through the web interface or by auto-provisioning and sits on a desk or on the wall.

Use and tips
The T31W is meant for desks with no network socket within reach: a workstation added to a furnished room, a reception desk far from the rack, a shop, a practice, home working on the ISP router. It joins the company Wi-Fi and registers on the IP PBX or the SIP-compatible VoIP service like a wired phone. On Wi-Fi, plan the Yealink power adapter (sold separately), as PoE only applies to the wired connection. A YHS34 or YHS36 RJ9 headset completes the desk. What is the difference between the T31W and the T31G?
The T31W has built-in 2.4/5 GHz Wi-Fi and 10/100 Ethernet ports; the T31G has no Wi-Fi but two Gigabit ports. Display, SIP accounts and audio are identical.
