Description
The Yealink T87W is the touchscreen Prime Business SIP phone of the T8 series. Its backlit 7-inch capacitive screen (800 x 480 pixels), adjustable on an invisible hinge, gives direct access to lines, contacts and features, alongside physical line keys and a red emergency key. It handles up to 16 SIP accounts and a 1,000-contact phonebook. HD audio combines AI noise cancellation, Acoustic Shield and a 3 W speaker. Dual-band Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5.0 are built in: wireless headset or network connection without a cable. Two Gigabit Ethernet ports with PoE, a USB-A port, a USB-C port and two RJ9 jacks complete the connectivity, and up to three EXP55 modules can be added. Security relies on Linux 6.1, TEE hardware encryption, TLS 1.3, SRTP, 802.1X and WPA3; the body has an antimicrobial finish.

Use and tips
The T87W suits executive desks and users who run several accounts: the 7-inch touchscreen speeds up transfers, monitoring and contact search, and AI noise cancellation keeps the voice clear in an open space. Dual-band Wi-Fi 6 lets you install it without a network socket, and Bluetooth 5.0 takes a wireless headset. It registers on any SIP-compatible IP PBX and is managed from the Yealink platform. Over Wi-Fi, plan the T8x power adapter (sold separately); wired, a PoE switch is enough. For an Android phone with a 1024 x 600 screen, see the T88W.
