Description
The Yealink T44W belongs to the new T4U series, with a more modern design built for interoperability. It registers up to 12 SIP accounts on 8 line keys and shows calls on a backlit 2.8-inch display (320 x 240 pixels). Built-in dual-band 2.4/5 GHz Wi-Fi removes the network cable, and Bluetooth 4.2 hosts a wireless headset or a mobile phone. Two USB ports open the way to extensions, including the EXP43 module with a 4.3-inch color screen and 60 programmable keys. Optima HD voice combines wideband hardware and software for maximum clarity, with a Hall-effect hook switch for silent off-hook. Two Gigabit ports with PoE, a 1,000-contact phonebook, TLS 1.3 and WPA3 for security, and zero-touch provisioning through Yealink's RPS service complete the package.

Use and tips
The T44W targets workstations that combine several lines and many calls: department manager, inside sales, executive assistant, branch reception. Wi-Fi lets you install it in an office with no network socket, Bluetooth lets you work on a wireless headset, and the USB ports add an EXP43 module to monitor dozens of extensions. It registers on any SIP-compatible IP PBX and deploys in volume through zero-touch provisioning. On a wired connection, a PoE switch powers the phone; on Wi-Fi, plan the power adapter (sold separately). A YHS34 RJ9 headset or a DECT headset through the EHS40 adapter completes the setup.
