Description
The Snom D865 is the best-equipped phone in the D8 series. Its 5-inch color display at 1280 x 720 pixels sharply shows calls and the assignment of the 10 programmable keys, complemented by 4 function keys. It handles up to 12 SIP accounts and a 50,000-contact phonebook. 802.11n/ac Wi-Fi lets you install it without a network cable and Bluetooth 5.0 pairs a wireless headset; the two Gigabit Ethernet ports, the USB A port for a headset or dongle and the RJ12 connector for an EHS module remain available. It is powered by PoE 802.3af or by a 5 V / 2 A power adapter sold separately, for a 10 W consumption, and is managed through the web interface. A dedicated DECT handset, the D8 expansion module and the Snom A100 and A310 headsets are offered as accessories.

Use and tips
The D865 equips desks that want everything: management, assistants, the reception of a head office, or offices where no network socket is available since Wi-Fi is built in. Bluetooth 5.0 takes a wireless headset without a dongle, and the DECT handset offered as an accessory lets you step away from the desk during a call. The 50,000-contact phonebook suits large organizations. Over cable, a PoE switch powers the phone; over Wi-Fi, plan the 5 V / 2 A power adapter sold separately. If Wi-Fi and Bluetooth are not needed, the D862 offers the same display with 8 SIP accounts.
