Description
The white Snom D810W opens the D8 series of professional IP phones with one distinctive feature: dual-band Wi-Fi 5 (2.4 and 5 GHz) is built in, so the phone can be installed where no network socket is available, without a dongle or new cabling. The 3.4-inch IPS color display (320 x 240 pixels) and the 4 SmartLabel keys with multicolor LEDs, spread over four pages for 16 functions, keep navigation simple. Full-duplex HD audio with echo cancellation, the Opus and G.722 wideband codecs and hearing aid compatibility keep conversations clear. Two Gigabit ports with PoE, a USB 2.0 port for a headset, a call-recording USB stick or D8C expansion modules, plus TLS 1.2, SRTP and OpenVPN complete the package. The housing has an antibacterial treatment, useful in shared spaces, and deployment goes through SRAPS or auto-provisioning.

Use and tips
The D810W is designed for home offices and small offices: connected to the Wi-Fi of the home router or the company network, it brings back the business line without running a cable, and OpenVPN secures the remote link. In a regular office, its small footprint saves desk space and its 4 SmartLabel keys are enough for the most dialed numbers (reception, IT, management). Over cable, a PoE switch powers it; over Wi-Fi, plan the 5 V / 2 A power adapter. For a larger display and more keys, see the D812 and D815W; the white D8 expansion module is available as an accessory.
