Description
The Fanvil V61W takes the V61G, a business phone from the V series, as its base and adds wireless connectivity. The built-in Wi-Fi 6 works on 2.4 and 5 GHz, so the phone can sit where there is no network socket, while Bluetooth 5.4 is also built in with no dongle. The 2.4-inch high-definition color display (320 x 240 pixels) shows calls and menus sharply. The phone handles 4 SIP accounts and a 6-way audio conference, and delivers HD audio on the handset as well as hands-free. The two Gigabit Ethernet ports remain available for a wired connection and for passing through the computer. The WB107 wall mount, the HANDSET-8 replacement handset and the HT302 headset are available as accessories.

Use and tips
The V61W is built for offices where pulling a network cable is a hassle: rented premises, frequently rearranged spaces, hot desks, phones added afterwards in a meeting room. It joins the company Wi-Fi network and registers on the IP PBX like a wired phone. Its two Gigabit ports let you go back to a cable at any time. Plan the WB107 bracket for wall mounting and the HT302 headset for busy desks. If wireless is not needed, the V61G offers the same features.
