The WP856 is a Grandstream Wi-Fi IP smartphone that brings SIP telephony, barcode scanning and Android applications together in a single device. It runs Android 13, certified with Google Mobile Services, with access to the Google Play Store and support for custom apps. Its built-in scanner reads 1D and 2D barcodes, and the NFC chip exchanges data with other NFC devices. The 5.5-inch HD multi-touch capacitive screen is protected by third-generation Corning 2.5D glass. On the voice side, it handles up to six SIP accounts and six lines in HD audio, with advanced acoustic echo cancellation and Noise Shield technology. Dual-band Wi-Fi 6, an advanced antenna and fast roaming keep calls going on the move. The 5,000 mAh battery delivers up to 20 hours of talk time and 200 hours of standby, with fast charging over USB-C. The IP65 casing resists water and dust and survives drops from 1.5 meters.

The WP856 is designed for mobile teams that need both a phone and a work tool: warehouse pickers, shop assistants, care staff, on-site technicians. They scan barcodes, use a business application and take calls from the PBX on the same terminal. Plan continuous Wi-Fi 6 coverage with roaming between access points to avoid dropped calls. If you do not need the scanner or Android, the WP826 and WP836 offer a simpler Wi-Fi 6 phone.
