Description
The WP810 is Grandstream's basic cordless Wi-Fi IP phone. It registers two SIP accounts on two lines, has two programmable keys and a 1.8-inch color LCD (128 x 160 pixels). HD voice relies on two microphones, echo cancellation and Noise Shield technology, with the G.722, Opus, G.711, G.729A/B and iLBC codecs. Its dual-band 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac Wi-Fi, with an advanced antenna and roaming, keeps the call alive when the user moves to another access point, and QoS prioritizes voice. A configurable key works as push-to-talk. The 3.5 mm jack takes a headset and the micro USB port handles charging. The 1,500 mAh Li-ion battery gives 6 hours of talk time and 120 hours of standby. The WP810 ships complete: handset, battery, charging cradle, multi-voltage power adapter, belt clip and quick start guide.

Use and tips
The WP810 suits small organizations that want a cordless handset on their IP PBX without installing a DECT base: retail, practice, workshop, offices covered by the existing Wi-Fi. It registers as an ordinary SIP extension and sits in its charging cradle between trips. Make sure Wi-Fi coverage is continuous across the areas people walk through, with roaming between access points. If you need Bluetooth and a larger display, see the WP820; for a rugged casing, the WP825.
