Description
The Fanvil H2U is a compact IP phone, here in a red version that immediately marks it as an emergency or assistance phone. It handles two SIP accounts and offers 10 speed dial keys, one programmable DSS key and an HD speaker in the handset, with hands-free operation. A hotline can be configured: as soon as the handset is lifted, the phone calls the preset number, for example reception or the security service. It sits on a desk or mounts on a wall, is powered over PoE 802.3af through its RJ45 10/100 port or by a power adapter, and is configured through the web interface. Designed first for hotels, the H2U also fits schools, hospitals, supermarkets and residences.

Use and tips
The red H2U is meant for emergency and assistance call points: hotel corridor, school hall, hospital ward, supermarket stockroom, residence car park. Wall-mounted, it reaches reception or security with a single press on a speed dial key, or automatically on off-hook thanks to the hotline function. Connect it to a PoE switch to avoid any power adapter near the call point.
