Description
This Grandstream mains adapter delivers 5 V and 1 A, or 5 W, through a micro USB connector. It powers Grandstream devices designed for this voltage and this type of socket, as a replacement for a lost or faulty original adapter, or alongside a device installed without PoE. Before ordering, compare the voltage, the current and the connector with the label on your device or on its original adapter: all three must match. This reference contains the power supply only; the device is sold separately.

Use and tips
This power adapter is meant for companies that install Grandstream equipment without a PoE infrastructure: desk connected to a standard switch, phone on Wi-Fi, device installed at a remote worker's home or in a room without a powered network socket. It is also the spare part to keep in stock to quickly replace an adapter lost during a move. Check the voltage and current expected by your device before ordering: Grandstream offers several adapters in 5 V, 12 V and 24 V, and only the right voltage and current pair will do. On a PoE switch, this adapter is not needed.
