The Fanvil Y501W-Y belongs to the Y501-Y series of SIP intercoms for healthcare. Like the rest of the range, it targets indoor home care, nursing home and residential facility applications: emergency communication, protection of residents and message broadcasting. It registers two SIP accounts and delivers HD audio. The detachable DSS keys let you compose the front panel according to the needs of each call point. This W version integrates 2.4 and 5 GHz Wi-Fi, useful where no network cable reaches. The IP54 housing withstands dust and water splashes. Installation is flush in a standard 86 box or surface-mounted on the wall, for quick commissioning in rooms and corridors.

Use and tips
The Y501W-Y equips rooms, apartments and common areas of care facilities and senior residences, as well as home care setups. The resident calls staff with one press, the duty station answers from its SIP phone, and management broadcasts its messages to all intercoms. This W version connects over 2.4 or 5 GHz Wi-Fi, which simplifies installation in an existing building. Plan an 86 back box for a flush finish, or surface-mount it.
