Description
The Snom E303 is an IP emergency phone. Its bright red housing immediately draws attention in critical environments: in a hospital, a school, a hotel or a public building, it is identifiable at first glance, like a fire extinguisher. As soon as the handset is picked up, the auto-dial function calls a preconfigured number (reception, security, emergency services) with no action required; speed dial keys can also reach specific contacts. The antibacterial housing improves hygiene in sensitive places such as healthcare facilities or school canteens. Slim and compact, the phone mounts on the wall with the included bracket, in a corridor, a hall or a passage area, and is powered exclusively by PoE, which simplifies installation and limits power consumption.

Use and tips
The E303 goes wherever someone must be able to call for help without thinking: hospital or care home corridors, school halls, car parks, stairwells, canteens, hotel receptions. Picking up the handset is enough to reach the defined extension (reception, security desk, on-call staff), and a few speed dial keys cover the other useful contacts. Be sure to plan a PoE switch port or an injector, as the phone works only on PoE. Set the destination number during configuration and test the automatic call before commissioning.

Does it need a power adapter?
No: the E303 is powered exclusively by PoE (Power over Ethernet). It must therefore be connected to a PoE switch or a PoE injector.
