Use and tips
The M256 is designed for industrial, logistics and technical sites: workshop, warehouse, loading dock, kitchen, maintenance, where the handset gets dropped, rained on or covered in dust. One PoE base covers the area and registers up to 10 M56 handsets; the central directory and remote provisioning simplify fleet administration. Bluetooth and the 3.5 mm jack allow hands-free work with a headset. For standard offices with no waterproofing needs, the M253 bundle with the M53 handset is enough; to cover several buildings, move to an M500 or M900 multicell base.
