The GXV3480 is the most advanced Android video phone in the GXV range. Its 8-inch 10-point IPS touch screen (1280 x 800 pixels) serves as a 16-line phone, a video conferencing terminal and an Android 14 tablet at once. The 2-megapixel camera with privacy shutter delivers 3-way HD video calls in 1080p at 30 frames per second, and the dual-microphone HD speakerphone with Noise Shield 2.0 handles audio conferences of up to 12 participants with the Opus, G.722, G.711, G.726 and G.729 codecs. The quad-core 2.0 GHz processor, 4 GB of RAM and 16 GB of storage keep apps running smoothly. HDMI in and out let you connect a room display or a video source, and connectivity includes two Gigabit ports with PoE/PoE+, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.0, USB 3.0 and USB-C, a 3.5 mm jack and an RJ9 headset port with Plantronics EHS.

The GXV3480 targets executive offices, meeting rooms and collaboration desks where video matters as much as voice: committees between sites, remote interviews, presentations with an HDMI source plugged into the phone. Its large 8-inch screen and Android 14 also make it a professional tablet for business apps. Power it from a PoE or PoE+ switch or from the supplied 12 V power adapter, and plan the GXV3380_WM kit for wall mounting. If a 7-inch screen is enough, the GXV3470 is a more compact alternative.
