Usage
The AM-C4000 is built for departments and workgroups printing 5,600 to 60,000 pages per month that want to combine A4/A3 printing, copying, scanning and faxing on one fast machine (40 pages per minute) that is easy to administer.
Day to day: letters and color documents, A3 copies, duplex scanning of document stacks to the network or email with the 150-sheet feeder, faxing for paper-based workflows. Heat-Free technology needs no warm-up: the first copy is out in 6 seconds.
Good to know: Wi-Fi is an option (5 GHz module); the machine connects over USB or Gigabit Ethernet as standard. For higher volumes or 50 to 60 ppm, see the AM-C5000 and AM-C6000 in the same range.
Frequently asked questions
Which consumables does the AM-C4000 use?
Four genuine Epson ink tanks: black 50,000 pages and cyan, magenta, yellow 30,000 pages each. No drum or fuser to replace: maintenance is limited to paper feed rollers and the waste ink collector, both signalled by the machine.
Does the AM-C4000 print duplex and over the network?
Yes: automatic duplex printing and scanning, USB 3.2 or Gigabit Ethernet as standard, optional 5 GHz Wi-Fi; AirPrint, Mopria and Epson Connect mobile printing.
