Description
The GAC2500 is Grandstream's enterprise audio conference phone, built on Android 4.4 with access to the Google Play Store. It registers six SIP accounts on six lines and its built-in bridge gathers up to seven participants. Three built-in microphones pick up speech up to 3.6 meters away and the speaker delivers full HD audio to the whole room; two GAC2500 units can be daisy-chained to cover a large meeting room or boardroom. The 4.3-inch capacitive touchscreen (800 x 480 pixels) makes it immediately easy to use. On the network side, the auto-sensing Gigabit port with built-in PoE+, b/g/n Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 4.0 (headsets and mobiles) give complete freedom of installation. A 3.5 mm jack and a micro USB port complete the connectivity, and TLS and SRTP encryption secure communications. The 12 V power adapter is supplied.

Use and tips
The GAC2500 equips meeting rooms, boardrooms and executive offices that hold regular conference calls with several sites or partners. Placed in the middle of the table, it picks up speakers up to 3.6 meters away; for a large room, daisy-chain two units. It connects to an 802.3at PoE+ switch without a power adapter, or over Wi-Fi with the supplied power supply where there is no network outlet. Bluetooth lets you hand a call over from a mobile phone, and Android opens access to conferencing apps from the Google Play Store.
