Description
The Snom D735 in a white finish carries over every function of the black D735 in a light-colored housing. Its 2.8-inch (6.9 cm) color TFT display is surrounded by 8 function keys with multicolor LEDs, labeled on screen (SmartLabels) for 32 functions: BLF, speed dials, call forwards. The proximity sensor shows the key assignments when a hand approaches, then restores the normal view. The phone handles up to 12 SIP accounts and 4 simultaneous calls, 3-way conferencing, a 1,000-contact phonebook and DSP-based HD voice (G.722, G.711, G.729AB, G.726 and GSM codecs). The built-in Gigabit switch connects the computer, PoE powers the phone, the USB port accepts a USB headset or a Wi-Fi dongle with Plug & Play and the RJ9 jack a wired headset. TLS, SIPS, SRTP, IPv6, OpenVPN and expansion modules are supported; the stand tilts to 46 or 28 degrees.

Use and tips
The white D735 fits into offices, practices and reception desks with light furniture, where a black phone would stand out. It suits desks that use a few monitoring or speed-dial keys: the 32 functions are spread over four pages of 8 keys, readable on screen as soon as a hand approaches. On a PoE switch, no power adapter is needed. For more keys, add the white 7xx series expansion module; for a headset, choose a Snom A100 USB model or a wired A310. The white D715 is the alternative with a black-and-white display.

What is the difference from the black D735?
