Description

This battery cover replaces the original rear cover of the first-generation Yealink W73H handset, that is the v2 hardware version fitted with a rechargeable battery pack. It closes the compartment and keeps the battery in place. Note that the W73H also exists as a v4 version, powered by AA batteries: its cover is different and this reference does not fit it. So check the version printed on the label on the back of your handset before ordering. The part fits without tools and is sold on its own, without a battery.

This cover is meant for companies that deployed first-generation W73H handsets, on their own, in a W73P bundle with the W70B base or in the W80 and W90 bundles, and want to extend their service life: retail, hospitality, practice, workshop. A lost or split cover is replaced in seconds for far less than the price of a handset. Before ordering, look at the version on the back of the handset: this part fits the v2 battery pack version and not the v4 AA battery version. If unsure about your handset generation, ask us for advice.

Does this cover fit my W73H handset?

How do I tell a W73H v2 from a W73H v4?

The v2 version runs on a rechargeable battery pack, the v4 version on AA batteries. Open the rear compartment: a single battery pack means a v2, separate cells mean a v4. The version is also printed on the handset label.
