Description
The Snom C620 is a wireless DECT conference phone that puts an end to tangled cables on and under the meeting table. The system includes a SIP DECT base station, which links to the telephone system, and a charging dock that recharges the conference unit: it offers up to 24 hours of talk time, or 12 hours in wideband audio. The built-in microphones are also wireless and can be placed freely on the table, in front of the participants; the two microphones are simply recharged in the charging slots built into the unit. Once the meeting is over, the unit goes back to its dock or follows the team into another room.

Use and tips
The C620 suits companies that hold conference calls in rooms with no network socket on the table, or that want a single unit shared between several meeting rooms: the device is taken from its dock, placed in the middle of the table and linked over DECT to its SIP base. The two wireless microphones move closer to the most distant participants. Put the unit and the microphones back on charge after each meeting to have the full battery life available.
