The Grandstream DP720 is the basic DECT handset of the DP range. It registers on the Grandstream DP750, DP752 and DP755 DECT IP base stations and gives access to 10 lines and 10 SIP accounts (20 with the DP755). Its 1.8-inch color TFT display (128 x 160 pixels) and its 23-key keypad, including 2 programmable keys, keep navigation simple. HD audio is available on both the handset and the speakerphone, a 3.5 mm jack takes a headset and 3-way conferencing starts from the handset. The battery lasts 20 hours in conversation and 250 hours on standby, with a range of 50 meters indoors and 300 meters outdoors. DECT authentication and encryption protect calls and accounts, and automated provisioning through TR-069 or XML files eases deployments. The handset measures 155 x 50 x 26 mm and weighs 138 g.

Use and tips

The DP720 suits teams that move around a shop, a workshop, a practice or small offices and need a simple handset to make and take calls. It does not work on its own: plan a Grandstream DP750, DP752 or DP755 base station, which connects to the IP PBX and serves up to 5 or 10 handsets. Which base station does this handset work with?

What is the difference between the DP720 and the DP722?

Same 1.8-inch color display, same battery life and same HD audio. The DP722 adds a configurable push-to-talk button, hearing aid compatibility (HAC), a removable belt clip and over-the-air firmware updates.
