The 3482B002 is the high yield version (12,500 pages) of the 3481B002 (6,000 pages): same cartridge, same printers, more toner. Above a few dozen pages a month it is the most economical choice per page.

Installation
Tool-free replacement: open the cover, remove the used cartridge, take the new one out of its bag, rock it gently to distribute the toner, remove the protections, then insert until it clicks. The printer recognizes the cartridge. The used cartridge is recycled through the manufacturer's take-back program or your local collection.
Use and tips
The 3482B002 suits intensive or shared use: the cartridge (12,500 pages) lasts over 3 years at 300 pages per month and about a year at 1,000 pages per month.
Store the cartridge in its packaging, flat, away from light and humidity, and unpack it only when installing. At the "Low" alert, order: the printer keeps printing until the replace message. Genuine cartridges preserve the printer's warranty.
